Not From a Can

Grilled peaches are the perfect summertime treat!  Lincoln Square had some sexy looking peaches this week.  These puppies can be baked or grilled.  We do not have a grill (sad, we know), but we do have a griddle.  Heat the griddle up till it is nice and hot.  Melt butter and brush to coat.  Slice peaches, remove pit and place face down on griddle.  I packed in a wee bit of butter where the pit had been removed just before it hit the heat.  Check periodically so they do not burn, but in about 5-7 minutes your peaches should be ready to go.  Remove from heat, top with brown sugar and vanilla ice cream, drizzle with honey and enjoy!
